The decisions needed to provide the correct medical approach to the diagnosis and treatment of neurologic diseases mandates that a neurologist be highly trained and very experienced – and, importantly, cognoscente of the most up-to-date information available. This is especially true in Russia and the former CIS, where “traditional” but outdated ideas of thinking, diagnosis, treatment methods, and unhelpful but painful and cumbersome medication regimes (which have been discredited, abandoned, and replaced in other countries decades ago by more effective evidence-based medicine) still prevail as the norm.

In Intermedcenter, experienced neurologists combine their longstanding work experience in the best Russian clinics with state of the art American and European treatment standards. They apply Western standards of thinking and diagnosis to every neurologic problem, in order to give their patients and their patients’ families the best understanding of the neurologic situation. Nevertheless, there will always be situations when a high-skilled medical team is not enough to completely understand and solve the problem. Hence, very complicated and expensive equipment is needed to confirm the correct diagnosis. In Intermedcenter you will have access to these: CT, MRI, EEG, and cerebral angiography evaluations obtained on the most modern equipment.
